Portable Sets Abuja International Carnival’s Stage Ablaze

Nigerian music sensation Portable brought the 2024 Abuja International Carnival to a thrilling close on Monday night, delivering a high-energy performance that left the crowd at Eagles Square in raptures.

Held from November 23 to 25, the carnival—centered on the theme “Carnival of Renewed Hope: A Pledge to My Country”;celebrated Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity with activities ranging from street shows and food competitions to boat regattas and vibrant parades.

As the event’s grand finale approached, excitement soared for Portable’s much-anticipated performance.

The crowd erupted as the “ZaZoo Zehh” hitmaker took the stage, belting out crowd favorites like ‘Pay Me My Money,’ ‘Ema Joke Dada,’ and ‘Clear.’ His electric stage presence and infectious energy kept attendees dancing all night.

Earlier in the evening, Rivers State was named the ‘Overall Best State’ in the carnival’s competition.

The event also featured a stunning indigenous fashion show and colorful parades, highlighting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.

The Abuja International Carnival continues to serve as a powerful platform for celebrating unity, culture, and the shared spirit of Nigeria.
