To accelerate Nigeria’s digital economy, the Federal Government is set to host workshops this week in Kebbi, Oyo, Anambra, and Sokoto.
These sessions are part of a nationwide effort to engage key stakeholders in shaping the country’s digital future.
Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, announced the workshops on Monday, highlighting their importance in ensuring that local needs are integrated into the broader digital transformation strategy.
The government’s initiative, already launched in 16 states, is focused on enhancing digital infrastructure, improving government data systems, and fostering private-sector innovation.
Supported by the World Bank, the workshops aim to drive digital growth and position Nigeria as a tech leader in Africa.
With participation from key lawmakers such as Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu and Adedeji Olajide, the sessions are expected to align digital policies with legislative frameworks for greater impact.
These workshops represent a critical step in Nigeria’s mission to lead Africa in digital innovation and economic growth.
