Prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) member Mohammed Saidu Etsu has called on President Bola Tinubu to prioritize loyal party members when making key government appointments.
In an interview with Arise TV, Etsu, a former APC national chairmanship contender, warned that sidelining loyalists could stir discontent within the party ranks.
Etsu emphasized the need for appointments that align with the party’s vision, stressing that loyalty to the party should be a fundamental principle guiding government positions.
He urged the president to uphold the party’s values, ensuring those who have consistently supported the APC are adequately recognized and rewarded.
“This is crucial for maintaining the trust and commitment of party members,” Etsu stated, pointing out the importance of loyalty in sustaining internal unity and fostering political stability.
