Ojochenemi Onje, who was abducted by suspected “one chance” operators in Abuja on Friday, has regained her freedom.
Onje was reportedly kidnapped on her way home from work in the Federal Capital Territory. Her abduction raised concerns among her colleagues and the media community.
Her release was confirmed on Saturday morning by some of her colleagues, though details surrounding her freedom remain unclear. It is not yet known if a ransom was paid to secure her release.
As of the time of filing this report, no official statement has been issued by authorities regarding the incident.
