The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday expressed satisfaction with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.
Wike made this known during inspection visits to construction sites of ongoing road projects in Bwari and Kwali area councils of the FCT.
The minister inspected the rehabilitation of the 5-kilometre Dutse/Usuma Dam Road, the upgrading of the War College/Army Checkpoint, and other ancillary roads within the Bwari Area Council.
He also assessed the reconstruction of the 25-kilometre Kwaita/Yebu Road and the 11-kilometre Yangoji-Sukuku-Ebo Road in the Kwali Area Council.
Speaking to the press after the inspection, Wike expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the ongoing road projects.
“I can’t believe what I’m seeing. We thank God that the Renewed Hope Agenda is alive and working. What amazes me is the length of the roads, particularly as they will positively impact these communities,” the minister said.
“I’m very much impressed with all the contractors. From Dutse, where SCC is working, we got to Ushafa in Bwari; then we went to Kwaita and Yangoji/Sukuku in Kwali. I will do everything to ensure that funding is not a problem for them,” Wike concluded.
