Slight dust haze is anticipated in the remaining parts of the region during the same period.
For the North Central region, the agency forecast slight dust haze throughout the forecast period.
In the southern region, a sunny atmosphere with patches of clouds is expected in the morning, except in Lagos, where misty conditions are likely.
Later in the day, localised thunderstorms accompanied by rain are anticipated in parts of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States.
On Thursday, NiMet expects slight dust haze to persist in the North and North Central regions.
In the South, sunny skies with patches of clouds are predicted in the morning, except for Bayelsa and Delta, which may experience mist.
Localised thunderstorms with light rains are also likely later in the day over parts of Lagos, Rivers, Delta, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom States.
By Friday, the northern region is projected to experience a sunny atmosphere, with similar conditions likely in other parts of the country.
NiMet advised individuals with asthma and other respiratory conditions to exercise caution, as dust haze may exacerbate health issues.
Additionally, it warned that strong winds may precede thunderstorms in areas expecting rainfall.
The agency urged the public to stay updated on weather conditions to safeguard health and property.
