Afrobeats Star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced a N300 million donation to orphanages and a charity combating drug abuse among youths as part of his 32nd birthday celebration.
The singer revealed his philanthropic gesture on his X account Monday morning, highlighting his commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and addressing social issues affecting Nigerian youth.
“Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon,” Davido wrote.
This act of generosity follows a similar move in 2021 when the Timeless crooner donated N250 million to 292 orphanages across Nigeria to mark his 29th birthday.
