Big Brother Naija Star, Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has voiced her support for mandatory DNA testing at birth amid ongoing debates on paternity fraud in Nigeria.
Amid rising concerns about paternity issues, the question of mandatory DNA tests has sparked divided opinions among Nigerians.
Phyna joined the conversation on her X (formerly Twitter) account, endorsing the Music Executive, Don Jazzy’s recent suggestion that DNA testing should take precedence over traditional naming ceremonies.
“I support DNA test over naming ceremony. It should be passed that it is compulsory. Immediately after birth, a DNA test should be carried out,” Phyna stated, advocating for immediate DNA testing after childbirth.
