President-elect, Donald Trump has appointed Elise Stefanik, a staunch ally and Chair of the House Republican Conference, as the new US Ambassador to the United Nations.

Trump praised Stefanik’s strength and dedication, calling her “an incredibly strong, tough, and smart America First fighter.”

Stefanik, a New York representative, has been a prominent supporter of Trump and is set to bring her political experience to the role in Trump’s cabinet.

This latest appointment follows Trump’s recent victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, securing his return to the White House.

Trump also recently appointed Susie Wiles, his campaign manager, as chief of staff, marking her as the first woman to hold this powerful position.
