In a show of gratitude, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has expressed her appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for appointing her to his cabinet.
Following her swearing-in at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Bianca reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the government’s foreign policy goals, highlighting how Tinubu’s clear foreign policy direction provides a strong foundation for her role.
“The President has made things easier by establishing a clear foreign policy direction,” she said, acknowledging Tinubu’s guidance.
Bianca also emphasized the potential of young Nigerians and the Nigerian Diaspora, which remits $22 billion annually, as key partners in advancing service delivery and strategic relationships with global financial institutions.
Among the other newly appointed ministers sworn in were Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment; Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Trade and Investment; and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad, Minister of State for Education, among others.
