The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has teamed up with Imose Technologies Ltd to launch locally manufactured laptops and tablets.
This initiative supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agenda to foster local content development and stimulate economic growth.
Through this collaboration, NASENI aims to drive indigenous industrialization, create jobs, and promote local content.
The newly unveiled NASENI Zedon X-Pro laptop features a powerful Core i5 processor and a 14-inch screen, combining power, portability, and practicality. Additionally, the 10.5-inch tablet offers a balance of portability and functionality, making it suitable for a variety of uses.
Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, Khalil Suleiman Halilu emphasized the strategic significance of the partnership in addressing technological gaps and reducing importation costs.
“We’re transforming NASENI into a central player in Nigeria’s technology revolution,” he stated.
on his part, the Chairman, Imose Technologies, Osayi Izedonmwen expressed pride in collaborating with NASENI to produce laptops domestically, highlighting the initiative’s role in bridging the digital divide and enhancing access to technology.
Together, NASENI and Imose Technologies share a commitment of innovation and nationalism, aiming to make their products available to government institutions, private organizations and consumers across the nation.
