Thirteen people tragically lost their lives in a fatal crash on the Kaduna-Abuja expressway on weekend; the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). has reported.
According to Kaduna Sector Commander Kabir Nadabo, the accident occurred near Olam Farm, when a Toyota Hiace carrying eleven passengers collided with a Golf Salon transporting five.
Those who lost their lives to the accident were taken to St. Gerard’s Hospital, while three survivors were rushed to AP Smart Hospital for urgent treatment.
Nadabo reminded motorists to practice caution as the “ember season” increases travel and potential road risks.
He emphasized the dangers of excessive speeding, urging drivers to adhere to safe speed limits to prevent further tragedies.
