Rising artist, Adejare Oluwatosin has publicly denied accusations made by popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, known as Portable, alleging he attacked the singer with a firearm.
The controversy erupted after Portable released a video claiming that someone attempted to assault him with a gun. In response, Adejare took to social media to declare his innocence, strongly refuting the allegations and calling Portable’s claim an attempt at blackmail.
To support his case, Adejare shared footage of his visit to Obasanjo Police Station, where he filed an official report concerning the situation. He challenged Portable to come forward to the police station and substantiate his accusations, stating that he had nothing to do with the alleged gun incident.
Adejare further escalated the tension by accusing Portable of endangering his life, recounting a frightening moment when the singer allegedly tried to run him over with a car. Adejare described it as a near-death experience and expressed frustration over Portable’s unpredictable behavior.
This incident is just one more in a string of controversies involving Portable, whose actions—including a recent confrontation with a preacher outside his bar—continue to draw public criticism and legal attention.
“I’m right here at the police station. Portable’s accusations about the gun are false. He tried to run me over with his car, and I had to flee for my life. Now, he’s online trying to frame me. If he’s telling the truth, let him come here and resolve it,” Adejare urged.
The unfolding drama adds more fuel to Portable’s already controversial reputation, keeping fans and the public guessing about what will happen next.
