Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revealed that Peter Obi’s camp heavily lobbied him before the 2023 presidential election, but he declined to support Obi. Wike, who hosted a private luncheon in Port Harcourt, said he had no regrets about backing Bola Tinubu, the eventual winner.
He also accused some factions within the PDP and Obi’s supporters of ganging up against him, noting that they see him as an obstacle.
