In a poignant statement shared with the public, Kyari expressed both sorrow and gratitude as he came to terms with the profound loss of his daughter, who has touched many lives during her time on Earth.

“With a heart filled with both sorrow and gratitude, I announce that my beloved daughter, Fatima, has departed at her appointed time. We hold onto the hope of being reunited with her in Jannah by Allah’s grace,” Kyari wrote. “Though the loss is immense, we remain thankful to God for His endless mercies.”

In the days following Fatima’s passing, Kyari reflected on the significant impact she had on the lives of those around her. “I didn’t fully grasp how deeply connected she was to so many people or how much she meant to them,” he noted. Despite facing physical challenges, Fatima possessed a remarkable ability to soothe and inspire those she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts, including her father’s.

Kyari’s heartfelt tribute emphasized that Fatima’s departure serves as a poignant reminder of the unity and care that can arise in the face of adversity. “The support we received has been overwhelming, and it demonstrates the compassion we are capable of when we come together in times of need,” he remarked, highlighting the solidarity shown by friends, family, and the community during this difficult time.

The NNPCL GMD extended his gratitude to a wide network of supporters, including leaders, family, friends, associates, colleagues, and educators, for their prayers and comfort. “Your kindness has been a profound source of strength, and we pray that Allah rewards you all abundantly,” he stated, acknowledging the collective support that has helped him navigate this challenging period.
