NIDCOM Chair Abike Dabiri-Erewa Condemns Libya’s Treatment of Super Eagles

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), has criticized the poor treatment of the Super Eagles by Libyan authorities ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

She expressed concern over the team’s diverted flight, which forced them to travel by road in Libya—a country currently unsafe for such journeys due to its instability.

The Super Eagles’ flight was redirected to a distant airport, resulting in an additional three-hour road trip to the match venue, despite the dangers posed by Libya’s security situation.
