Controversial rapper Speed Darlington has been released on bail after being arrested for allegedly making slanderous comments about fellow artist Burna Boy.
According to Gistreel, fans grew concerned after Darlington went silent online for three days, prompting speculation about his whereabouts. It was later revealed that his arrest came after Burna Boy filed a complaint with the police regarding the statements.
Human rights activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju stepped in to assist, working on Speed Darlington’s case and securing his release from custody.
Recent reports confirm that the rapper is now out on bail, with viral photos circulating online showing him alongside his lawyer and others who helped secure his release.
