American rapper Meek Mill has announced his intention to hire an investigative team to uncover why he is being linked to disgraced music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy.
Diddy was recently arrested by Homeland Security on charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution. In the wake of his arrest, both his past and present associates have faced intense media scrutiny.
In response to this attention, Meek Mill expressed his willingness to spend $100,000 on an investigative team to clarify his name’s involvement in Diddy’s case. He also aims to identify those “empowering” the media to associate him with the scandal.
On his X handle, Meek Mill wrote, “I wanna hire an investigative team with 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving meek mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case…. I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘Meek’ anything to do with buddy! ‘Something not right’.”
Meanwhile, Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges, with his bail request being denied twice as of September 17.
