Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has rejected accusations that he bribed officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to dismiss a money laundering case. The allegations emerged after influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, shared a voice recording on social media, allegedly implicating Bobrisky in the bribery scheme.
The recording also referenced Bobrisky’s earlier conviction for naira mutilation, where it was claimed that he served his sentence in a lodge instead of a prison. Bobrisky took to Instagram to debunk the claims, stating: “I did not pay any EFCC officials, and I served my time in prison.” He urged the public to disregard the false information being spread.
