Singer and actress Selena Gomez has revealed that she is unable to carry children due to medical reasons. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the 32-year-old shared the emotional journey of coming to terms with her condition, saying, “I haven’t ever said this, but I, unfortunately, can’t carry my own children.”

Gomez explained that her medical issues would pose serious risks to both her and the baby, forcing her to grieve the loss of the ability to become a mother naturally. However, she has since found peace and is looking forward to becoming a mother through other means, such as surrogacy or adoption.

Reflecting on her personal growth, Gomez said, “I’m in a much better place with that now,” and expressed gratitude for the alternative options available for people who desire to become parents. She added, “At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby.”

The actress remains hopeful and excited about the future, even though her path to motherhood will be different from what she had envisioned.
