Famous Hollywood actor James Earl Jones has passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the age of 93. Born in Mississippi in January 1931, Jones was renowned for his iconic voice roles as Darth Vader in Star Wars and Mufasa in Disney’s The Lion King (1994). His impressive film career also included notable roles in Field of Dreams, Conan the Barbarian, Coming to America, and The Greatest. Jones had publicly discussed his long battle with type 2 diabetes in recent years. He is survived by his son, Flynn Earl Jones.
