A large group of bandits invaded the Primary Healthcare Centre in Kuyallo, Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting two nurses and an unspecified number of patients.

According to local vigilante leader Musa Alhassan, the bandits initially targeted the nearby Government Day Secondary School but found it empty.

They then turned their attention to the healthcare centre, taking two female nurses and several patients hostage.

An eyewitness described the chaotic scene, saying the bandits wielded guns and machetes, dragging people out of the hospital.

The incident has left the community in a state of panic and highlights the need for enhanced security measures to protect communities and healthcare facilities.

This attack is the latest in a series of bandit raids in Kaduna State.

Efforts to reach the Kaduna State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, were unsuccessful.

The state government has yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
