Gov. Buni, CDS Strategize on Enhanced Security Measures in Yobe Following Deadly Mafa Attack

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni met with Chief of Defense Staff General Christopher Musa to address the recent deadly attack on Mafa village in Tarmuwa Local Government Area.

Governor Buni expressed concern over the growing trend of terrorist incursions into the state, targeting border communities and causing harm to innocent lives.

He cited recent attacks in Mafa and Geidam, which resulted in significant loss of life.

Buni stressed the need for a lasting solution to these border attacks and discussed new strategies with General Musa.

The governor welcomed the CDS’s assurance to deploy additional personnel and tactics to combat terrorism in the affected areas.

General Musa pledged improved synergy between the military and local communities to collectively defeat terrorism and other crimes in Nigeria.

Governor Buni reiterated his administration’s support for security agencies in the state to ensure effective crime-fighting and strengthened peace and security.

The meeting aimed to bolster collaboration and strategy to protect Yobe State’s border communities from terrorist attacks.
