Evicted Big Brother Naija No Loose Guard housemate Mickey has confessed to misleading his fellow housemates about his age during the show.
In a post-eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Mickey revealed that he had told his housemates he was 28 when he was actually 24. He explained that he felt the need to lie due to the scrutiny from Ozee, who often brought age into conversations.
Mickey said, “I’m 24 years old. I told Ozee I was 28 because of his tendency to bring age into every discussion. There was a time he mentioned he was in Nigeria before I was born, which upset me.”
He added that this was one of the reasons he advised Fairme to avoid engaging with Ozee during their arguments, believing that Ozee would never concede defeat.
Mickey also offered an apology for his previous behavior towards Wanni, acknowledging that he had misjudged her. “It took me a while to realize that Wanni actually has a soft heart. I apologize for my earlier behavior. Wanni is a very kind person,” he said.
Earlier on the show, Mickey had expressed his intention to “force” Wanni and her twin sister, Handi, to exit voluntarily, accusing them of being “rude.”
