Dangote, Bill Gates Participate in NEC Meeting as Shettima Presides

Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Foundation, and Microsoft Chief Executive, Bill Gates, are among the prominent figures attending the ongoing National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.

 

Vice President Kashim Shettima is presiding over the meeting, where health and nutrition issues are set to be a major focus of discussion.

 

The meeting is being attended by several governors, including Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, and Lawan Dauda of Zamfara State. Deputy governors, some ministers, and state commissioners are also present, representing their respective leaders.

 

The NEC meeting is anticipated to conduct a comprehensive review of the nation’s economic policies, including the recent fuel price increase.
