Music video director, Thankgod Omori (TG Omori), has set the record straight following Portable’s assertions that Nigerian celebrities have abandoned him in his time of need. Portable had criticized the entertainment industry for not supporting TG Omori, who recently underwent an unsuccessful kidney transplant surgery, despite their willingness to donate to other causes, such as Bobrisky’s prison ordeal.
In a response, TG Omori expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received from colleagues and friends, stating that they have been “solidly behind” him even before his health issues became public knowledge. He urged fans to disregard any claims suggesting otherwise, emphasizing that prayers, moral support, and love are all he needs during this challenging time.
On his social media handle, TG Omori wrote: “All I needed was your prayers, moral support, and love, and I’m grateful to have received these in abundance. The industry and friends have been solidly behind me months before it all came public. Please ignore the clout-chasing individuals. Jesus is king.
