Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph, has praised the Falconets for their impressive performance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. Nigeria began their campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over South Korea at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in the early hours of Monday morning.

Flourish Sabastine scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute, earning Nigeria a crucial three points.

In his reaction after the match, Atlanta Olympic gold medalist Dosu Joseph urged the Falconets to stay focused. He emphasized that while the team has started on a positive note, they must not become complacent and should continue to approach each game with a winning mentality.
