Former Big Brother Naija reality show contestant, Francisca Owumi, has sadly passed away. The reality star died on August 29, 2024, after a brief illness.
Francisca, the runner-up of the inaugural BBNaija season in 2006, was remembered by her family in a social media post: “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
During her time on the show, Francisca was known for her energetic dancing skills and shared the house with fellow contestants, including winner Katung Aduwak, Gideon Okeke, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, and Maureen Osuji.
After her stint on BBNaija, Francisca briefly pursued a music career, releasing singles “Diva” and “Gbadun You.” Her passing has left a void in the entertainment industry, and she will be deeply missed.
