Abuja Commerce Chamber Announces September 20 for 2024 International Trade Fair

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has announced the 19th Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF) from September 20 to October 1, 2024.

Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, ACCI’s second deputy president, highlighted the fair’s importance as a major trade platform in Nigeria. This year’s theme, “Mobility Options for Transportation, Trade Financing, and Taxation,” aims to address key business growth areas. The event will focus on improving logistics, supply chain efficiency, and operational cost reduction.

The fair will feature over 500 exhibitors showcasing more than 10,000 products to nearly 100,000 attendees. It will include discussions on mobility, taxation, and trade finance, with participation from key stakeholders like the Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Inland Revenue Service, and various ministries and international representatives.

Dr. Hong emphasized the media’s role in promoting the event and urged support to ensure its success and positive impact on Nigeria’s economy.
