The Programme Director of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi), Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi, on Thursday, held a pivotal meeting with Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Chinedum Elechi, the Mandate Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Transportation Secretariat.
The meeting is part of PCNGi’s broader strategy to engage key stakeholders across various sectors to promote the adoption of compressed natural gas (CNG) as a cleaner and more cost-effective alternative to conventional fuels. Given the strategic importance of the FCT as Nigeria’s capital, the collaboration between PCNGi and the FCT Transportation Secretariat is seen as a crucial step in achieving the federal government’s goals of reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency in urban transportation.
