The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced a temporary road closure and traffic diversion in the Rigachikun – Kawo – Mando – Afaka area of Kaduna on August 30th. This measure will be in effect between 7:00 am and 11:00 am to ensure the safe conduct of the “Endurance Run” exercise for Army, Navy, and Air Force cadets.
According to a statement released by the NDA’s Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Maidawa, the road closures will affect routes from the Nigerian Army Command Engineering Depot at the Nigerian-Turkish International School Junction in Rigachikun, extending through Kawo Flyover, Mando, and Afaka.
The “Endurance Run” is a critical component of the annual “Exercise Camp Initial” training program for first-term cadets of the NDA.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternative routes during the affected hours. The NDA apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and seeks the public’s understanding and cooperation.
