Famous Nigerian music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, better known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has revealed that his only brother recently donated a kidney to him. TG Omori shared this news on Tuesday while discussing his health challenges.
In a now-trending post on his official X account, TG Omori disclosed that the kidney transplant took place on Monday, August 26, 2024. He wrote, “Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again.”
On his Instagram story, the music director also shared photos of himself on a hospital bed receiving oxygen, with the caption: “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
It has been reported that TG Omori had been away from the public eye for a while, causing concern among his fans.
