Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate Wanni has announced her breakup with her boyfriend on the show, Shaun.
Wanni and Shaun, who started dating despite both being AS, have recently faced mounting tension. The situation was exacerbated during Sunday’s live show when host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed Shaun’s conversation with another housemate. Shaun had expressed that his initial attraction was to another housemate, Nelly, who did not make the first move, and admitted that Wanni was not his ideal woman.
Shaun commented, “On the outside, hot-headed women are not my type because they tend to bring out the worst in you,” referring to Wanni’s aggressive nature.
During the live show, Ebuka questioned Shaun: “Are you with Wanni because she approached you instead of Nelly, with whom you had a connection in the first week?”
Shaun responded: “Wanni has always been my first choice.”
Following this revelation, Wanni decided to end her relationship with Shaun. In a conversation with her twin sister, Handi, Wanni expressed her frustrations, saying, “God forbid Shaun’s childish behavior. He’s not an alpha male. I’m done with him; he likes drama. He didn’t even congratulate us for surviving eviction. There are many traits he shows that make me very scared.”
Despite Handi’s pleas for her to reconsider, Wanni stood firm in her decision, stating she would never forgive Shaun.
