Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has stated that he is not concerned about the captaincy armband at Nantes.

Despite his consistent performance, Nantes manager Antoine Kombouaré handed the captain’s armband to Cameroonian defender Jean-Charles Castelletto for the 2024/25 season.

In response to this decision, Simon expressed that he is more focused on helping the team win games rather than being concerned about the captaincy armband.
He emphasized the importance of team unity and stated that the coach decides who wears the armband.

Simon highlighted that the team’s success is the priority, and individual roles such as being a captain do not overshadow the collective effort of the team.
