Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has encouraged his teammates to put their recent loss to Brighton behind them and concentrate on the upcoming important matches in the Premier League.

Brighton secured a 2-1 victory over Manchester United on Saturday, maintaining their unbeaten streak.

Speaking with the club’s website, the Cameroonian goalkeeper expressed the need for the team to move forward from the loss to Brighton.
“We came here to win, but unfortunately we didn’t,” Onana told the club’s website.

“We had a great game. I believe we outperformed them, we had more opportunities, possession, and control of the game.

“Unfortunately, they denied us a goal, but that’s a part of football and life. We need to move on.

“Certainly, we will discuss and analyze the videos to identify our mistakes and learn from them. We have big games ahead against top clubs, so the expectations are high.

“Mentality is crucial, especially when representing a club of this magnitude. We have many players with a positive mentality, which is invaluable for the club and the team.

“We are accustomed to this. We need to prepare for the upcoming games without any concerns.”
