Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to take immediate action to prevent a looming nationwide protest that could devastate Nigeria’s economy for two weeks. The prophetic warning was conveyed on Friday in a statement released by Oluwatosin Osho, the Primate’s media assistant.

In his message, Primate Ayodele highlighted the ongoing challenges within the current administration, predicting that the uncertainty and lack of clear direction would have severe consequences for the nation and its citizens. He emphasized that the warning should not be taken lightly, as he has previously made predictions that have now come to pass.

“When I stated diesel would be N1,500, and petrol would be hiked to N1,000, even reaching N1,500, people dismissed me as a doom prophet. They even went as far as sponsoring stories against me. But now, these predictions have become reality,” Ayodele remarked. “I foresee another protest on the horizon that will cripple the economy for two weeks. I pity this country because some banks will be unable to cope unless the president takes decisive action.”

The Primate further elaborated on the confusion he perceives within Tinubu’s government, particularly regarding economic and security matters. He warned that if the current trajectory continues, Nigerians will face even greater hardships, with the cost of living skyrocketing and the price of food commodities continuing to rise.

“There is confusion in Tinubu’s government about how it will address the pressing issues facing Nigerians—economics, security, and more. When we refuse to vote for God’s choice, this is what happens. I don’t see how Nigerians will find comfort under these conditions,” Ayodele stated. “The price of food commodities will continue to soar, leading to severe hardship. I advise the president not to allow this situation to drag on beyond this year because what I see ahead is massive.”

Primate Ayodele also made further predictions about the future, including the continued rise in fuel prices and the potential for significant changes in various industries. “As things stand, petrol will continue to be sold at N1,300, and the government will ask for recapitalization in several industries, as well as increased phone tariffs. The confusion hasn’t even begun yet,” he cautioned.
