On Wednesday, Governor Alex Otti called a conference that was attended by more than four hundred traditional rulers from the state’s seventeen local government districts.
Attending the meeting were several traditional rulers, particularly those from the hinterlands, as well as Eze Linus Nto Mba, the chairman of the Abia State council of traditional rulers, and Uzor Nwachukwu, the commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs.
Speaking during the gathering at Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Governor Otti reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to protect the welfare of the people and to safeguard every area of the state.
He reaffirmed the necessity of maintaining the state’s current level of calm and added that his administration’s development program was benefiting every neighborhood.
