Enosis Neon Paralimniou, a football club in Cyprus, is mourning the loss of Nigerian forward Paul Julius, who tragically passed away at the age of 20 in a car crash. The accident occurred on the Paralimni-Protaras road, where Julius’s vehicle collided with another, leading to his untimely death.

The club shared the heartbreaking news on their official website, expressing deep sorrow and extending condolences to his family. In their statement, the club praised Paul’s determination and resilience in pursuing his dreams, noting that despite the challenges he faced, he remained steadfast in his goals.

Paul Julius had recently joined Enosis Neon Paralimniou from Egyptian side El Gaish. The Cypriot club, currently competing in the second division after relegation last season, also features another Nigerian player, goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye. The club expressed its grief, stating, “His memory will live on in our minds, and his absence will be deeply felt.”
