President Bola Tinubu has reappointed Professor Abdurrahman Abba Sheshe as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano. This marks the beginning of his second and final four-year term, effective December 5, 2023.
The reappointment was announced by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, in a statement released on Wednesday. Ngelale noted that Professor Sheshe initially assumed the role of CMD on December 6, 2019.
President Tinubu expressed his expectations that Professor Sheshe will continue to improve the hospital’s standards and ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality medical services to citizens during his renewed tenure.
