The outbreak of monkeypox has prompted the Osun State government to issue a red warning.
This alert follows the confirmation of instances of monkeypox in several states.
The Osun State Government’s official X handle sent out a message including this warning.
The advisory, which advised the state’s citizens to remain vigilant and safe, included information about the virus that is feared.
The message reads, “Osun State Government issues red alert against Outbreak of MONKEYPOX (M-Pox).
“Things you need to know: Symptoms and causative agents of the disease.
“Awareness and Sensitization, Prevention and Treatment.
“Stay alert! Stay safe!!”
