Alhaji Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State, has given his approval for the employment of 1,192 more assistants.
Dr. Folashade Ayoade, the Secretary to the State Government, made this announcement in a statement on Monday.
“The aides consist of 36 Special Assistants, 165 Senior Special Assistants, Kogi State Office for Disability, and Yakubu Abdulhakeem, who would hold the position of Executive Secretary.
The announcement said, “Others on the list approved by the governor are 290 Local Government Special Assistants and 574 Ward Special Assistants.”
Along with a retinue of assistants, Ododo also approved the appointment of Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulsadiq to the position of Director of Protocol, First Lady Office.
All appointments received congratulations from the governor, who also asked them to do their utmost to serve the state and all of humanity.
All appointments, according to Ayoade, will take effect on September 1, 2024.
