The first nomination show for BBNaija Season 9 took place on Monday, resulting in five pairs being put up for possible eviction on Sunday. The nominated pairs are:
– Beta
– Chekas
– DoubleKay
– Wanni x Handi
– Zinwe
At least one of these pairs will be evicted during the live show on Sunday.
The nomination show follows the introduction of new rules by the show’s organizers, announced by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. The changes include:
– Abolition of the Custodian Challenge and HOH ballot
– Removal of housemates’ power to vote for eviction of the bottom four pairs
– Restoration of immunity for the Head of House (HOH)
– HOH no longer has the power to “save and replace”
According to the new rules, pairs will nominate each other for eviction, while viewers will have the ultimate power to decide who gets evicted through voting.
