President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to depart from Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Monday, August 19, for a working visit to France. This was announced in a brief statement by Presidential Media Aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday. Ngelale noted that the President’s visit to France will be a brief work stay, after which he will return to Nigeria.

This upcoming trip follows closely on the heels of President Tinubu’s recent official visit to Equatorial Guinea. The President returned to Abuja on Friday evening after a productive three-day visit, during which he secured significant agreements and reinforced Nigeria’s international relationships.

While in Equatorial Guinea, President Tinubu successfully sealed the Gulf of Guinea Gas Pipeline project, a critical initiative aimed at boosting energy cooperation and economic integration within the region. The project is expected to enhance energy security, drive economic growth, and create job opportunities for the participating countries.
