The Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command of the Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), Major General Kevin Aligbe, has emphasized the importance of maintaining strict integrity during the ongoing 2024 Senior Staff Course Qualifying Examination (SSCQE) at the Infantry Corps Centre, Jaji Military Cantonment in Kaduna State.
In his address to the SSCQE candidates at the Ihejirika Auditorium in Jaji, Maj. Gen. Aligbe, who serves as the president of the examination, warned against any form of examination malpractice. He highlighted that such infractions could lead to severe penalties that might significantly impact the career progression of those involved.
Maj. Gen. Aligbe urged the candidates to fully embrace the opportunity before them, noting that the examination is a critical step towards attending the Senior Staff Course at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, or at any affiliated staff colleges abroad.
“The examination is not only about writing a test; it is also an assessment of their present level of proficiency that will determine their capabilities to undertake higher responsibilities,” he stated.
He further reminded the candidates of the gravity of the task at hand, stressing that their performance and conduct during the examination could have lasting implications on their careers. Maj. Gen. Aligbe’s remarks underscore the Nigerian Army’s commitment to upholding a high standard of professionalism and integrity within its ranks.
