UPHOLDD Nigeria has announced a nationwide initiative to mobilize at least 8 million youths to promote unity, cultural innovation, and sustainable development. The initiative, led by Victor Wilkinson Agih, aims to reignite the potential of Nigeria’s diversity and emphasize inclusivity, equality, and people-centric opportunities.

The National Integration Marshalls Program is a citizen-driven service program that positions young Nigerians at the forefront of national development. It seeks to launch Nigeria’s first development goals action plan, celebrating the ‘UPSIDE of Nigeria’ through values such as Unity, Prosperity, Sustainability, Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equity.

The initiative aims to connect over 8 million young Nigerians from 500 ethnic-lingual nationalities through 8,000 National Pride Ward-level hubs, promoting education, innovation, enterprise, and eco-citizenship. The #UPSIDE Naija Campaign is a mass mobilization mechanism that accelerates a Pan Nigeria Citizens Call to action to promote renewed resilience and responsibility.

The campaign has six goals to promote sustainable development and democracy: Unity for peace and security, Prosperity for economic sufficiency, Sustainability for green-blue economy development, Inclusivity for persons with disability and the elderly, Diversity for cultural integration and heritage preservation, and Equality for sustainable democracy.

The UPHOLDD Nigeria Initiative empowers Nigerian youths and fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the nation’s future, championing a culture of unity and inclusivity for sustainable national advancement.
