FG Launches 3MTT Programme to Create Jobs for Nigerian Youth

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced yesterday in Abuja that the President Bola Tinubu administration has established the 3 Million Technical Talent (MTT) Programme to create three million jobs for Nigerian youth. The programme, driven by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Technology, aims to equip youth with the necessary education and skills to enhance their capacity and value in national security intelligence.

Idris, represented by the Director General of the Voice of Nigeria, Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, stated that the programme is a key part of President Tinubu’s vision to prioritize youth development in the country’s overall national development strategy. The administration is also focusing on economic security for Nigerian youth to build a more secure and prosperous nation.

Additionally, the government has introduced initiatives such as the Nigerian Education Loan (NEL) Fund to provide financial support for students, and the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) policy to reduce transportation costs by 70%. Idris encouraged youth to take advantage of these government policies for personal comfort, economic growth, and empowerment, while emphasizing the importance of imbibing necessary morals and values to contribute to national security intelligence.
