Oderah Chidom, a former D’Tigress Center, has signed with the French Ligue Féminine de Basketball team Flammes Carolo for the upcoming 2024/25 league season.
The announcement was made on the official website of Flammes Carolo on Monday, August 11, 2024.
Chidom left the Italian team Ragusa, where she had an impressive performance, averaging 15.1 points per game and a 52.8% field goal percentage, to join the French club.
Flammes Carolo will kick off their season against Landes Women at the Caisse d’épargne Arena on Monday, August 19, 2024.
The club’s head coach, Romuald Yernaux, stated that Chidom had been on the club’s radar for a month and is the right fit for the upcoming season.
Yernaux described Chidom as tall, technically comfortable, versatile, and possessing intensity, mobility, and aggressiveness in their game plan, aligning with the model the club wants to implement. Yernaux emphasized Chidom’s experience, ability to perform without a European Cup, and her capability in rebound phases.
He also noted Chidom’s height, which is taller than Tiffany Clarke, as a valuable attribute for the team.
