YouTube Music is introducing a new feature that allows users to share their “personal radio” on their profile and channel pages, alongside their top songs, artists, playlists, and music videos.
In April 2023, YouTube Music introduced profiles that can be set to public or private, displaying four “top” stats. The platform is now reportedly expanding this feature to include the sharing of a “personal radio,” which can also be shared via a link and added to your library like any other playlist.
This “personal radio” playlist is described as “Made for sharing,” curated based on users’ recent music choices, and updated daily. Although the feature has not yet been fully rolled out, it appears to be gradually becoming available to users.
Once available, users can enable the feature by navigating to their YouTube Music profile, tapping on Settings, and selecting “Privacy and location.” Under “Channel settings,” they can toggle on “Enable public stats” or “Enable public personal radio.”
While this feature may not drastically change the YouTube Music experience, it adds another layer of personalization to an already rich set of features.
