In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has smashed cocaine syndicates and recovered multi-billion-naira worth of drugs in a series of nationwide raids.

The agency seized large consignments of cocaine bound for the United States and the United Kingdom, hidden in automobile parts and clothing. Four suspects were arrested in connection with the seizures.

In addition, the NDLEA intercepted shipments of Loud, a variant of cannabis, from Canada at the Tincan port in Lagos and the Lagos airport.

The nationwide raids demonstrate the NDLEA’s commitment to tackling drug trafficking and reducing the availability of illicit substances in Nigeria.

The agency’s efforts have resulted in the recovery of substantial quantities of cocaine, with a street value running into billions of naira. This significant seizure is a major disruption to the cocaine supply chain in Nigeria.

The NDLEA’s success in smashing cocaine syndicates and recovering large consignments of drugs is a testament to the agency’s dedication to making Nigeria a drug-free nation.
