President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences following the death of Issa Hayatou, the former President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), who passed away at the age of 77 on Thursday.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu conveyed his sympathies to Hayatou’s family, the Cameroonian Football Federation, the people of Cameroon, and the broader African football community.

Hayatou, who also served as the acting President of FIFA, left a lasting legacy in the football world.
